His Culinary Journey
Luca Pezzera's passion for cooking started at the prestigious San Pellegrino
School of Hoteliers where he graduated in 1986. Since then with perseverance
he fine-tuned and secured his eclat in the Food and Beverage industry in Italy
and the various countries he had worked in. His illustrious career spans over
20 years and has seen him travel the globe to pursue his passion in countries
such as Turkey, Jordan, Switzerland, Scotland, Dubai and most recently
Indonesia. Luca have always wanted to explore Asia hence his stint in Jakarta
became more than 5 years where he is the Executive Chef at Hotel InterContinental-Jakarta.
Here, he pioneered and established Scusa, one of the country's best Italian restaurant.
While here that he have participated in various competitions and having credited with
numerous awards too.
Chef Luca's good culinary reputation coupled with his personable charm have
garnered a loyal following that includes some of the country's celebrities,
socialites, businessmen especially and just ordinary folks whom just love his
delectable scrumptious creations. He have had the pleasure of cooking for
some internationally famous people namely, President Susilo Bambang of
Indonesia and Hollywood actor Slyvester Stallone, French actress Catherine
Deneuve and the The King of Jordan, King Abdullah II Bin Hussein and his Queen.
